ARLINGTON RIDGE YARD SALE
A huge thank you to Karen Ragne who has graciously offered to organize LCWA's participation in the Arlington Ridge Yard Sale on October 9 and 10.
Karen needs tables as well as gently used items for the sale. If you have items to donate or a table that Karen can borrow, please contact her (352-872-8119) to make arrangements for drop off beginning September 15. Or, bring your items to the September 24 meeting. Karen's address is: 26622 Otter Creek Lane.
When donating items, please make sure that they are in good
condition and are working. Please limit the number of clothing items, which should be clean and spot free.
This is a great fundraiser for LCWA. All proceeds go directly to support the work of the Children's Advocacy Center. Help make this fundraiser a great success. Donate your items today!
2026 LCWA HOLIDAY EXTRAVANANZA
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
December 10 is quickly approaching and planning is already underway. This event is our last fundraiser of the year. We need your help. This is how you can help:
*Ask local merchants you use for a gift card. Exs: nail salons, hair salons, a favorite restaurant, a gas card, a car wash, etc.
*Donate a basket or gently used items, which can be used to create a basket.
*Begin inviting friends and family to the event.
*Post the holiday flyer (available at the September meeting) in your community and at local merchants.
*Utilize your social media to spread the word.
Included with the newsletter is a copy of the solicitation letter to provide a donor with the information about who we are and how the money is used.

Meetings are normally held the fourth Thursday of the month with the exception of November and December. The dates for these two months are November 12 and December 10.
