The Children's Advocacy Center is always in need of gently used clothing, blankets, stuffed animals, toiletries, school supplies, etc. A great suggestion was made to package these items in a backpack, which can then also be used by the children. ​ Our focus for collections this month is on clothing for elementary age BOYS and younger (underwear, shorts, shirts), and school supplies. ​ Be mindful that food goodies do not contain peanuts or peanut products due to possible allergies .

You have two options (#1 and #2) to register and pay for the Luncheon/Meetings. ​ Registrations for the monthly luncheons/meetings and special events are non-refundable. You may have your lunch picked up by a friend to be taken home to you if can not attend. Option #1 (Cash or Check): The cost for lunch if paying by cash or check is $22.00. Make checks payable to: LCWA and mail to P.O. Box 526, Okahumpka, FL. 34762. The check for the February 22nd luncheon MUST be received by WEDNESDAY, March 20th, 2024 at 9:00pm - NO EXCEPTIONS - Non-Refundable. Entrees Are: #1. Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich: Chicken Breast, Swiss Cheese, Ham, on a Brioche Bun served with Sweet Potato Fries #2. Philly Cheese Steak: Shaved Angus Ribeye, Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese on a Toasted Hoagie Roll served with Sweet Potato Fries #3. Trio Salad Tuna, Chicken, and Egg Salads seved on a Bed of Mixed Greens with Choice of Dressing Dessert is Included along with Coffee, Tea or Water.
